Introduction to the DXsea Digital Learning Lab (DXseal)

The DXsea Digital Learning Lab (DXseal) is a newly rebranded initiative under the Accelerating Digital Transformation for Higher Education Institutions in Southeast Asia (DXsea) project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. Formerly known as the Digital Learning Training Centres (DxLTC), DXseal represents an enhanced commitment to driving digital innovation, capacity building, and sustainable transformation in higher education.

The physical set-up of DXseal functions as a dedicated hub for continuous capability development programmes, equipping educators, administrators, and learners with the necessary digital skills and pedagogical strategies to thrive in an evolving educational landscape.

Three DXseal centres have been strategically established across Southeast Asia—one regional centre at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and two in-country centres at the National University of Laos (NUOL) and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC). These labs serve as collaborative platforms for sharing best practices, fostering regional synergy, and strengthening the digital learning ecosystem in the region.
