DXsea Digital Learning Lab (DXseal)
Established on 26 June 2025, the DXsea Digital Learning Lab (DXseal) is one of the key initiatives under the Accelerating Digital Transformation for Higher Education Institutions in Southeast Asia (DXsea) project, co-funded by the European Union.
DXseal builds upon the foundations laid by DXsea, with a strong focus on advancing digital learning and transformation, particularly through training and capacity-building efforts. It reflects an enhanced commitment to fostering digital innovation, developing institutional capabilities, and ensuring sustainable transformation within the higher education sector.
The physical infrastructure of DXseal serves as a dedicated hub for ongoing professional development. It aims to equip educators, administrators, and students with essential digital skills and innovative pedagogical strategies to thrive in an ever-evolving educational landscape.
To support regional implementation, three DXseal have been established:
● A regional lab at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)
● Two in-country labs at the National University of Laos (NUOL) and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC)
These digital labs act as collaborative platforms for sharing best practices, fostering regional synergy, and strengthening the digital learning ecosystem across Southeast Asia.
